Okay, I found a totally accessible talking dart board. It is used in league play for those with visual inpairments and plays the same games as any standard dart board you would find in any bar or game room, including 301, 501, around the clock, got yah, count up, and much more. It pseaks all games, keeps score aloud, keeps up to 20 player names, speaks all functions, and has an audio and on board help talking manual.
I can post the complete description up here if anyone is interested or if anyone is a member of or the leader of a dart league. This could be used for blind people only or if your league incorporates both blind and sighted people, have the sighted people blindfolded to even things and then all could play using this board. It is all ready being used by both blind leagues and sighted/blind leagues in the US and UK and Canada.
However, the price is up there a bit, but worth it for full and complete functionality for those running or involved in a league.
U.S. $4.99
stand is extra
custom audio is extra also

This is so cool! I've always wanted to play darts. Please post more about it. maybe, I can see if there's a place for amateurs that has this talking board. *smile*

I'll get it all together and put it up tomorrow. I'm checking the resellers to see thier prices and double checking the phone number and address as the number is local to me here in Minnesota. I just missed the conferrence on it that was held in the twin cities last weekend. Crap! There's another in San Fransisco coming up in April, so I'll post the date in case anyone can make it to that one. There's also a league here in my state that uses this with both blind and sighted players who are blindfolded.

Okay, I figured I'd just post the web link since it's a lot simpler than posting the entire description. At the bottom of the page there's also a link that will give you some history about one of the original talking dart boards that first came out.
